ARTS POST INFORMATION
Arts Post is a bright and relaxing space as part of the public lounge area within the Winning Post. The room is used for separate and small events such as tasting evenings and small gatherings. The Space is directly accessible by the public from the Lounge area and is open whilst the rest of the pub is open, although there will be occasions where private parties may be held in the space.
We have 11 Art Post wall spaces for rental to display artwork:

Art Post – Summary and conditions of Space Rental
1. Spaces are available to use individually or as a collective mix
2. Rental period is 6 weeks min. up to 10 weeks , but please talk to us if you have different requirements.
3. Agreement of show duration needs to be in advance a. Whilst we will seek to accommodate extensions to duration, we cannot guarantee to be able to agree to display duration requests.
4. We charge no commission on any sales made.) The Winning Post (WP) will provide any interested buyers information to the displaying artist / their representative.
5. All work must be framed / mounted / pre-wired and ready for hanging before being brought for hanging. 6. The WP has an in house hanging system on the Galley walls – and a partial system for all other walls.
a. No holes can be drilled in walls or additional pinning or fixing can be made to the woodwork or walls without specific WP permission. b. Blue-Tac, Sellotape or similar cannot be used on any of the walls.
c. The Max. load for the hanging system is 15KG/Linear Meter
d. The Max. load for any individual item is 15KG in any part of the room
7. Hanging location and curation is the responsibility of the Artist/ their nominee. A member of The WP staff must be present when the work is being hung.
8. WP retain the right to any positioning of any work or to refuse any work not deemed appropriate for a family pub environment.
9. Hanging / decommissioning timing must be arranged in advance with WP. Hanging/ decommissioning needs to be planned for hours when the pub is closed or by exception quiet times, but always by prior agreement with WP.
10. It is the responsibility of the artist / their nominee to name, price, catalogue and produce any lists they require for public reference in advance of their showing.
11. Although the Art Post is closely monitored and all care and respect will be shown to all artists work, WP cannot accept responsibility for any theft, damage or monetary loss for the work displayed. If artists are concerned or have particularly valuable pieces of work they should be independently insured by the artist themselves.
12. The Artist or their representative must be present to take their work down on the day after the last day of the agreed rental (timing agreed in advance). a. If the Artist or their representatives are not present to take down their work, WP will do so but a Min. charge of £15 will be applied. b. The Winning Post does not have the facility to store artwork before or after the display dates agreed.
